Don’t forget, the New Forest Ukulele Festival is taking place on the 20 May 2017, at the New Milton Memorial Centre 11:30 am – 8.00 pm. Admission is £5.00 per person, pay at the door, no advance tickets.
HUG is not playing, but take your uke so that you can join in with the 30 audience participation songs from the 15 ukulele groups that will be playing or join in the workshops. For budding soloists among you, there is also an open mic session.

Please note that the gig on 18 May 2017 has been cancelled, there are two new gigs in May and the date of the Hythe Mistletoe Fayre has changed. Please update your diaries accordingly.
Hythe Community Centre is being used as a polling station for the local elections on 4 May 2017 so our usual practice room in not available. But fear not, the conference room at Exbury Club has been booked from 19.00 to 22.00 and HUG practice can carry on as usual.

Some seats have now become available on the coach for the HUG Grand Day Out in Poole. The trip will take place on Saturday, 17 June 2017, pick up around 9.00 am from various points (times to be confirmed). After a day of sightseeing, pottering and shopping in Poole, we will meet up for dinner at the Jolly Sailor on the quayside, with a uking session there after our meal before travelling back. Cost of each coach seat is £15. (Dinner arrangements & costs to follow).
Any Huggers not yet booked for Poole and who would like to join us, please contact Sandy via the CONTACT US form with how many seats you would like.
